The 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment (2-327th Infantry) is an airborne infantry battalion of the U.S. Army, historically assigned to the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). Nicknamed the “No Slack,” the battalion has a distinguished combat record with service in World War II, Vietnam, and multiple deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan in support of global contingency operations. Known for its aggressive light-infantry operations and rapid deployment capability, the 2-327th has played a key role in air assault and counterinsurgency missions throughout its history
