2nd Battalion, 25th Marines (2/25), aka “Empire Battalion,” is a Marine Corps Reserve infantry battalion assigned to the 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division. Based in Brooklyn, New York, with subordinate companies located at multiple reserve sites, it trains to locate, close with, and destroy enemy forces and to conduct security and stability operations as part of Marine Air-Ground Task Forces.
