Battle Company is an infantry company of the 1st Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment “Black Lions" The regiment fought in World War I and World War II, including the assault on Omaha Beach as part of the 1st Infantry Division. The battalion later served in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan before being inactivated in 2023.
