327th Infantry Hoodie

The 327th Infantry Regiment was first constituted in 1917 and assigned to the 82nd Division, serving in France during World War I. Reactivated in 1942 as part of the 101st Airborne Division, it was reorganized as glider infantry and took part in major World War II operations including Normandy, Operation Market Garden, and the Battle of the Bulge. During the Vietnam War, the regiment—then designated the 327th Infantry (Airborne)—conducted extensive combat operations across the central highlands and northern I Corps. Since 2001, its battalions have deployed multiple times in support of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan as part of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).
