Toujours Prêt. Always Ready. The 2nd Cavalry Regiment, the Second Dragoons, was formed in 1836 and carries the eight-pointed star of the original dragoons. It fought the Seminoles in Florida, rode into World War I as the only unit to fight as cavalry, and spent decades patrolling the Iron Curtain border in Germany. Desert Storm, Iraq, and Afghanistan followed, and today the regiment is a Stryker force at Rose Barracks in Vilseck, Germany. If you rode with the Dragoons, own it.
