I'll Try, Sir. The Bobcats of 2nd Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment trace their lineage to 1808 — one of the oldest active infantry regiments in the U.S. Army. The Bobcat name came from a regimental baseball team in postwar Germany and stuck ever since. From Korea to Vietnam to Afghanistan, the 5th Infantry answered every call. The battalion has since been inactivated, but the soldiers who served under the Bobcat name carry that legacy with them. This hoodie is for those soldiers.
