SWCC is the US Navy's Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewman. SWCC are elite special operations forces tasked with conducting and supporting special warfare and maritime operations. They operate and maintain an array of specialized high-speed boats and craft, including the Mark V Special Operations Craft and the Combatant Craft Assault, to insert, extract, and support Navy SEALs and other special operations personnel. SWCC teams are highly trained in navigation, weapons, communications, and medical care, allowing them to execute clandestine missions in hostile environments, ranging from riverine to open-ocean settings.
