The 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment (2nd ACR) is a United States Army unit established in 1836. It is one of the Army’s oldest regiments and has participated in multiple campaigns and conflicts. The regiment has served in the Indian Wars, the American Civil War, World War II, the Gulf War, and the Iraq War. It is currently active as the 2nd Cavalry Regiment, a Stryker unit based in Germany.
