The 90th Fighter Squadron, known as the “Dicemen,” is one of the oldest units in the United States Air Force, originally activated in 1917 during World War I as the 90th Aero Squadron. It gained fame in World War II as part of the 5th Air Force, flying B-25 Mitchell bombers in the Pacific Theater and earning numerous campaign honors. Today, the squadron is stationed at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, operating F-22 Raptors and maintaining its legacy of excellence in air dominance and combat readiness.
