In case you ain't know....  In Jamaican slang, the term "shotta" refers to a gangster or gunman, often associated with the criminal underworld. It is derived from the word "shooter" and is commonly used to describe individuals involved in illegal activities, particularly those involving firearms. The term gained widespread recognition through its use in reggae and dancehall music, as well as in popular culture, notably in the 2002 Jamaican film "Shottas," which portrays the lives of young men involved in crime in Kingston.
