Foxtrot Company, 50th Infantry Regiment (Long Range Patrol/Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol), part of the 25th Infantry Division, was formed during the Vietnam War to conduct deep reconnaissance missions behind enemy lines. Initially organized in 1966, these units specialized in gathering intelligence, conducting ambushes, and disrupting enemy operations with minimal detection. Their expertise in unconventional warfare and their critical role in providing actionable intelligence significantly contributed to the division's operational success in Vietnam.
