Steel on Target. 1st Tank Battalion has been the armored fist of the 1st Marine Division since World War II, leading the charge through the Pacific, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, and Iraq. In 2021 the battalion was deactivated under Force Design 2030, ending Marine Corps tank units. The colors are cased, but the strength and courage of the Marines who crewed those tanks are not forgotten. If you served with 1st Tanks, wear the legacy.
