1-73 CAV was the 1st Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC. Formed in 1941, 1-73 CAV provide reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition (RSTA) to the division. The unit was inactivated in July 2024.
