Detachment 1, Company B, 2nd Battalion, 151st Aviation Regiment is a North Carolina Army National Guard aviation detachment based at the Morrisville Army Aviation Support Facility in Morrisville, North Carolina. Operating the UH-72 Lakota light utility helicopter, the detachment provides aviation support for both state and federal missions. As part of the North Carolina National Guard’s aviation enterprise, the unit supports domestic operations including disaster response, homeland security, and law-enforcement assistance. This mission set includes counterdrug and drug-interdiction support.
